Procedure
Students were asked to rate themselves on three parameters –
Thoughts (ideas), Vocabulary, & Grammar for enhanced
communication.
They came up with few more parameters to rate themselves on.
This exercise of self-reflection helped students know their strengths &
areas where they were required to work.
Based on the results of their rating on the parameters, they were asked
to analyse and write methods they would deploy to enhance their skills.
The class adapted one method- ‘Group Discussion’.
The class was divided into groups. Each group was assigned a topic.
They discussed the topic and wrote the paragraph.
They worked on the task keeping the result of self assessment in mind.
