GETI

understands that transforming education results from transforming teacher practice. GETI targets this by addressing the core and by focusing on complete evolution of the training processes from inside out to make change more effective and permanent.

CERTIFICATES

are given for every module of work completed. Each module takes two to four weeks on average to complete. DIPLOMA is offered at the end of completion of a practical component. Its a combination of online and offline tools.

TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR IN-SERVICE TEACHERS AND PRINCIPALS

EXEMPLIFY E-COURSES

  • Designed to transform practice of teaching (all teachers all grades)
  • El: CERTIFICATE FUNDAMENTAL SKILLS (12 modules)
  • E2: DIPLOMA
  • E1 + PRACTICAL APPLICATION (6 modules equivalent). Classroom implementation of two innovative ideas in your class, collection of data and report submission in the format provided.

SUBJECT WISE S-COURSES

  • Designed to support teacher proficiency in one or more teaching subjects. Proficiency in English is recommended for all teachers.
  • 51: ENGLISH (2 modules)
  • 52: MATHEMATICS (2 modules)
  • 53: Another Teaching Subject (a list of subjects to choose from. Usually 2 modules per subject)
  • FIVE LEVELS OF PROFICIENCY L1: Pre-Primary I L2: Primary I L3: Middle Grades I L4: X I L5: XII

PRE-PRIMARY PP-COURSES

  • Equipping Pre-Primary teachers with knowledge of key methods and practical implementation
  • PP1: CERTIFICATE IN PRE-PRIMARY PROCESSES (5 modules)
  • PP2: DIPLOMA IN PP1 + PRACTICAL APPLICATION (6 modules worth)
  • Pre-primary teachers are expected to also complete courses El, 51 and 52 at the pre-primary level.

MANAGEMENT M-COURSES

  • Designed to transform education using macro policy measures and tools
  • Ml: CERTIFICATE SCHOOL POLICY & LEADERSHIP (6 Modules)
  • M2: DIPLOMA
  • Ml +PRACTICAL APPLICATION (6 Modules equivalent)
